A network for people interested in extending access to and engagement with culture through technology, including Digital content creation, digital preservation and related subjects.

This network is for people interested in using collections information via the Culture Grid, particularly developers interested in using the search APIs. The Culture Grid is a new service from Collections Trust. It aims to join and open up UK collections information to reach more people in more ways. Visit the Grid at: http://www.culturegrid.org.uk

A new, open network for people work in the UK and internationally on standards for Digitisation. This network will act as a sounding-board for a programme of work, led by the Collections Trust and supported by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) and The National Archives, to collate the existing generation of Digitisation Standards and develop a set of new tools to support M,L,A in applying them.

This network exists to bring together people with an interest in Copyright in museums, archives and libraries to share knowledge and expertise. It will also provide a focus for sharing information about the emerging Digital Economy Act and the resulting implications for the Culture sector.
