Smarter Loans is a collaborative piece of work to review the key principles of loans in the UK and set out guidance for what this means in practice, undertaken as part of the Effective Collections programme.
The Museums Association is running a public consultation on the draft guidance document, Smarter Loans: Principles for lending and borrowing from UK museums. Individuals, museums and other groups within the sector are invited to comment on this draft by 21 October 2011.
