The European Commission has announced the latest funding call (call 7) in the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP), offering up to €125.7m in new funding for digital projects across Europe. Horizon 2020 is part of the European Parliament's proposed large-scale funding programmes for 2014-20. It replaces a number of current programmes, including the EU ICT Policy Support Programme, which have provided funding for cultural heritage organisations in the fields of research and digitisation.

New two-year project seeks to create Preservation Roadmap

An EC-funded project titled “Digital Cultural Heritage - Roadmap for Preservation” (DCH-RP) has been launched to look at best practice for preservation standards in use.

The two-year project has received part-funding of more than €800,000 from the Commission. It involves 13 partners from eight EU countries, with the Collections Trust designated as a “task leader”.
