A worldwide community of people use SPECTRUM to manage collections, and particpate in the development of the standard..
If you use SPECTRUM you can join the SPECTRUM Network on Collections Link. This is an open network and is the easiest way to keep up to date with the development of the standard. Every year a SPECTRUM Roadmap Meeting is held at the Collections Trust’s annual conference, OpenCulture. This is an opportunity to catch up on SPECTRUM, and play an active role in its development.
SPECTRUM Local
The SPECTRUM Community also encompasses SPECTRUM Local, an initiative from the Collections Trust to support the translation and localisation of the standard, under licence, by museum communities outside the UK
The SPECTRUM Partner Scheme

If you are a user or supplier of collections management software you will be interested in the SPECTRUM Partner Scheme. Membership of this scheme allows software suppliers to use SPECTRUM for commercial purposes, and enables them to assess their software for compliance with SPECTRUM.
New in 2012 is a service that enables users to find the right software for their needs by comparing the features of leading Collections Management Systems over more than 40 different criteria. Results are taken from the Collections Trust’s CMS Software Survey 2012-13 and compiled using information provided by the Collections Trust’s SPECTRUM Partners.
