The tempo is rising for this year’s OpenCulture as delegate and exhibition stand bookings take off. The conference programme is now complete and expert speakers are being secured to deliver the best-ever OpenCulture, building on the success of last year’s event which delegates rated 100% Good to Excellent. This year’s theme is Putting your collections to work.

NEW: Project Updates: Delegates have the chance to make short presentations in two Project Update sessions. A total of 12 slots are available – six focussed on Technology and six on Collections – with proposals assessed by an independent panel. To take part visit www.collectionslink.org.uk/project-updates.

This year’s conference will be complemented by a new-look exhibition featuring Supplier Updates, giving delegates all the latest news about new developments in software, systems, products and services. The Spectrum Community Meeting has also been upgraded to provide more time for in-depth discussion and debate.

A conference highlight is the presentation of the Collections Trust Awards for excellence in collections management. Three new categories have been added this year, with six awards being made on the night. Award nominations close on 30 April. The Awards presentation will be made at the conference reception on 26 June.
