Media Equation is the latest company to join CT’s SPECTRUM DAM Partners Scheme

look at me squareDigital Asset Management system provider Media Equation (‘me’) is the latest company to join the SPECTRUM DAM Partner scheme, which was launched by Collections Trust earlier this year. Full details are online at www.collectionslink.org.uk/spectrum-dam-partner. Media Equation’s software Lookatme™ Collect offers a comprehensive solution for cultural heritage professionals responsible for collections and their digital assets. The company says it provides flexible and intuitive workflows so an organisation can work smarter and achieve more with their assets.

More than 120 clients worldwide are using Lookatme™ Collect. For example, it is used to manage 16 million digital assets at Museum Victoria, Australia’s largest museum organisation, and enables it to deliver dynamic online content to a global community. Further information about Media Equation and Lookatme™ Collect can be found at www.lookatmedam.com.au .

Collections Trust’s CEO Nick Poole says: “We have worked successfully with Media Equation for a number of years and are thrilled they have decided to join the SPECTRUM DAM Partner Scheme. Media Equation help cultural heritage organisations understand the importance of integrating DAM into their Collections Management while maintaining the best practice of SPECTRUM.

“SPECTRUM DAM Partnership offers confidence to museums in the procurement of software and enhanced credibility to vendors in their association with a trusted, industry-wide standard”.

The new partner scheme supports SPECTRUM DAM. This is the best practice guide to integrating Digital Asset Management into existing Collections Management practice, based on, or compatible with, the SPECTRUM Standard.

For an annual fee, SPECTRUM DAM Partners receive a wide range of benefits, including a commercial licence to reference SPECTRUM DAM content within their products.

Information about all aspects of SPECTRUM is available on the Collections Link website.
